Block of the Month projects are always great fun, whether they are done by hand or machine.  This year we will have 2 BOMs
(as they are called).  






















MYSTERY BLOCK OF THE MONTH
This Block of the Month is a Sampler.  To join there is a $10 fee for the year.  For the fabric requirements, just call the shop.  
Make it scrappy and use up some of you own fat quarters.  If you want something new and different, we have some specials
for you.
SPECIAL FOR CLUB MEMBERS:
Take an additional 5% off the fabrics you buy for your Mystery Sampler.
You can join the club at any time. Each block from previous months will cost $1 each.
Here is how the club works:
STEP 1:  
Fabric requirements are given for all the 24 blocks
STEP 2:
Sew the blocks together by the deadline. The deadline is the 7th of the following month. (That means the first week of the
following month including days we are closed.)
STEP 3:  
Pick up the next 2 blocks which will be made available by the 1st of each month. You can pick them up when it is convenient
for you. Note: When the 1st of the month is on a Sunday or Monday, the blocks will be available on the following Tuesday.
Here is the FUN PART..... For each block you bring in completed, BY THE DEADLINE, you will earn 1% off the finishing
materials, which includes backing, batting, and sashing fabrics necessary to complete your quilt. So... If you finish both
blocks for the month you earn 2% from that month. If you finish ALL the blocks for each month by each monthly deadline, you
will get a bonus and have earned a total of 25% off your finishing materials**.

When you come in with both blocks completed by the deadline, you will receive...

A.) 1 FREE pre-cut fat quarter, and
B.) The pattern for the next 2 blocks for FREE. If they are not both finished the next pattern will cost a nominal fee of $1.  You
will also not receive your free fat quarter nor your additional 2% discount.

A Mystery Sampler Club meeting will be held January 2010 to discuss setting and finishing ideas.
Ghostly Holloween  - Block of the Month
Ghosts, owls, bats, pumpkins, candy and witches. There's a block for each month. We'll be getting
together once a month to complete a block. Call the shop for details.
