Ever wonder what to do with those 2.5 inch strips you see sold as 'jellyrolls' or in Bali pops packaging?  
Have a bunch of leftover strips and don't know what to do with them?  Do you have a group of fun
conversation themed fabrics in your stash that you'd love to use up?  Trying to reduce your stash so you
can buy more of the new fabrics out there?  Then this is the class for you.  Join us on Saturday, May 1st to
learn how to "strip' like a pro and come see how to use them to create a fast and cool new quilt top.  
Teacher Diane Fama will show you how to cut and arrange your 2.5 inch strips into a easy to piece top that
will leave you room in your studio.  We'll explore accurate piecing and pressing techniques, color
placement, adding borders, discuss binding techniques and even show you how you can get a second
smaller quilt out of the leftovers from your bigger quilt project.

Bias strips have many uses from stained glass projects, to stems and celtic applique or binding curved
quilts. Learn a rotary cutting method of making continuous bias strip  any width and any color you would

Well, not quite 1,000, but definitely more than you would think you would ever want to cut. Use pre-cut
strips and a strip-piecing method for easy sewing and cutting the 60 degree triangles.  Don’t let all those
triangles scare you away, Sharon has a great quick and easy method for you to use as you create your
masterpiece.  This would be a great class to use the "Jelly Rolls" and "Bali Pops" you have in your stash.

Trip Around the World, just quicker than the original pattern. See how simple and quick it can be to make

quilt in 2 days.

Beginners with knowledge of half-square triangles are welcome.  
Fussy cut novelty fabrics are the star of this quilt. Framed out and set in a stylized frame created by
kaleidoscope blocks. Use Sharon's Smart-Plate technique to transform simple basic blocks to create a
stunning quilt.

This project is very similar to the colors of the quilts that are done by the Amish women.  You will note that
there is a black background with vibrant colors.  With pre-cutting, you should be able to have this project
